Refund & Cancellation Policy

The Short Version

1. Standard Refund Window

You may request a refund for a Ticket within fourteen (14) calendar days of the purchase date, provided all of the following conditions are met:

To request a refund, sign in and visit My Tickets, open the Ticket, and select Request refund. The refund is processed to the original payment method and typically appears on the Attendee's statement within 2–3 business days (bank dependent).

4. Event Cancellation by the Organizer

If an Organizer cancels the Event, you are entitled to a full refund of the amount you paid. The refund is processed automatically within ten (10) business days of Mega Tickets USA receiving the cancellation notice.

If the Organizer reschedules the Event to a materially different date, time, or venue, you may choose between keeping the Ticket for the new date/location or requesting a full refund. Mega Tickets USA will notify you by email and in-app when a reschedule is posted.

5. Force Majeure

A "force majeure" event means a natural disaster, pandemic, government order, labor action, terrorism, war, or other circumstance outside the reasonable control of the Organizer and Mega Tickets USA. When an Event is cancelled, postponed, or materially altered due to force majeure, Mega Tickets USA will — in coordination with the Organizer — offer affected Attendees one or more of the following:

6. Resale Marketplace Refunds

Tickets purchased through the Mega Tickets USA resale marketplace follow the same 14-day window as primary Tickets. However, because resale Tickets involve a third-party seller, resale refunds:

7. Mega Payments — Installment Plans

If you reserved a Ticket using Mega Payments, you pay for the Ticket in scheduled installments. Some installments may be paid by card through our payment processor, and others may be paid through manual methods such as Zelle, Venmo, Cash App, or PayPal, with proof of each payment submitted in the app and verified manually by Mega Tickets USA. Refunds for Mega Payments plans work as follows.

7.1 Completion Deadline

Your plan must be paid in full and verified by Mega Tickets USA at least seven (7) days before the Event date. A Ticket reserved through Mega Payments is not fully valid until the plan is completed and every installment is verified.

7.2 Cancellation for Non-Payment

If your plan is not paid in full and verified by that deadline, your Ticket and order are cancelled and the Ticket is released for resale. In that case:

7.3 Voluntary Cancellation Before the Deadline

If you choose to cancel an active Mega Payments plan before completing it, contact us at contact@megaticketsusa.com. Voluntary cancellations are handled under this Policy and, where applicable, the standard 14-day refund window in Section 1. The 20% cancellation fee in Section 7.2 applies to plans cancelled for non-payment as described above.

7.4 If the Event Is Cancelled

If the Organizer cancels the Event while your plan is still active, you are entitled to a refund of the verified amounts you have paid, without the 20% cancellation fee, consistent with Section 4 of this Policy. You are not required to keep making installment payments toward a cancelled Event.

8. How to Request a Refund

  1. Sign in to megaticketsusa.com or open the mobile app.
  2. Go to Account → My Tickets.
  3. Select the Ticket and choose Request refund.
  4. Complete any identity verification prompts (we may ask for a password re-entry and, for web requests, a selfie approval on your mobile app).
  5. Confirm the refund. You'll see a confirmation screen and receive an email.

Refunds are typically processed within one business day; the actual appearance on your card statement depends on your bank (usually 2–3 business days).

9. Exceptions and Customer Support

If you believe you qualify for a refund outside these rules (for example: a medical emergency, a billing error, or fraud), contact support at contact@megaticketsusa.com with your Order ID and a description of the situation. Exceptions are granted at the reasonable discretion of Mega Tickets USA and, where applicable, the Organizer.

10. Chargebacks vs. Refunds

Please request a refund through the Service before contacting your card issuer. A chargeback initiated without first seeking a refund through us may be disputed and can result in suspension of your account if the chargeback is abusive. See our Dispute and Chargeback Policy for details.
